PNU offers a strong language curriculum for students of all levels and is also the only Light-approved program for Korean studies outside of Seoul. Though Busan is the second largest city in South Korea, there is quite a significant difference in the level of internationalization of the city when compared to Seoul. In Busan, students will likely encounter far fewer expats and English-speaking locals, which makes for a far more immersive learning environment. Additionally, participation in this program includes access to library, and other campus facilities opens the door for more opportunities to engage with local students.
