Dates & Deadlines

It is your responsibility to keep track of important dates and deadlines. The deadlines for language program applications can be found on each program's website. 

Dates for the 2024 - 2025 academic year (all times are EST):
This year, most information sessions will be offered in-person. Attendance for the virtual info session is taken by the Zoom account logged in to view the session. As such, each student attending must log in on their own Yale zoom account.

Students must attend one of the Light Fellowship information sessions during the academic year of your application prior to the application cycle deadline to which you are applying. If you attended in a previous year, you must attend in the new application year. 

**You must join the session on time and stay for the full session in order for the session to count toward your eligibility requirement. You will not be permitted to enter if you arrive late.**

Early Fall Competition applicants must attend one of the first two information sessions. Late Fall Competition applicants may attend any of the 7 sessions.
