Dates & Deadlines

It is your responsibility to keep track of important dates and deadlines. The deadlines for language program applications can be found on each program's website. 

Dates for the 2026 - 2027 academic year (all times are EST):

• 2 of the sessions are offered on Zoom - please log in using your Yale Zoom account for attendance purposes 
• you must attend one of these sessions during the application cycle of the deadline to which you're applying 
• if you attended one last year, you must attend one again in the new application year
• Early Fall Competition applicants must attend one of the first two information sessions
• Late Fall Competition applicants may attend any of the 7 sessions
• If all 7 sessions conflict with your class schedule, please e-mail light.fellowship@yale.edu with your schedule.

**You must join the session on time and stay for the full session in order for the session to count toward your eligibility requirement. You will not be permitted to enter if you arrive late.**
